Smoking is one of many addictions faced by the world in today's generation. In India- every third-person has smoked once in his lifetime and 5th person is an addict. Indian youth loves to follow what the celebrities do. While they don't take all the blame.
According to survey conducted by American Health Institution - 60% of the youth who are addicted to smoking have generic smokers in their family and 40% of the smokers who smoke are following the trend.
While it's universally accepted that cigarette is the major cause of large deaths in world with no proven health benefits, youth still follows to trend. Among the many negative effects of smoking -being diabetes, cancer , blood pressure, heart stroke, brain damage, lung cancer and other diseases.
